Sunsplash Park, in Daytona Beach, is fun and free, and has plenty of covered picnic tables, and lots of area for the kids to run around and have a great time.

Right next door there is a covered playground, on sand, which I thought was very thoughtful of the designers. It gives the children someplace to go to get out of the heat and the sun during summertime.

The computerized jets of water coming up from the cement base, are open from dawn to dusk as weather permits.

Restroom facilities as well as cold beverages, a Coca-Cola-sponsored "cool zone", are all on site and easily accessible.

This splash park is right on Daytona Beach, so when you are done, you can hop down the stairs to the sandy beach and enjoy some waves!
