Vortex Dive Center can completely gear you up with all the equipment you will need for your dive. SCUBA rental packages includes tank, reg. BCD, wet suit, weight & belt, mask, fins, & snorkel, hood, boots & gloves. With the proper ID and deposit, equipment can be rented from Vortex and used elsewhere too! Certified instructors offer classes to obtain your SCUBA Certification in as little as 3 days. Padi, NACD, NSSCDS, IANTD, TechRec are all taught here by Certified Instructors. Vortex even offers cavern and cave diving for certified cavern and cave divers. Vortex Spring Diving Center is a SCUBA Dive Resort and so much more! This is an entertainment complex that is sure to please your whole family. They have a wonderful swimming area in the spring, that has slides, swings, jumping platforms. You can rent tubes, snorkel gear, SCUBA gear and more. If you bring your underwater camera, you can catch the action of several species of freshwater fish making the spring their home. There is tent camping available with full facilities, and camp lodges that can accommodate large groups. Plans are underway to create Paintball fields also 4 Wheeler Camping and Track, for 4 wheeling fun, and also an airport runway and hangars, and flying lessons. They also own an equestrian facility and offer hourly horsebackriding for very reasonable rates! On-site gear rental, snack bar, camp store, are all available at this expansive resort. This is a great place to bring your Boy Scout group, Girl Scout group, or corporate group. They have plenty of room for over 1,000 people at a time here. All scouts get a scout discount!
