Take A Drive In The Country- North Florida

Nothing soothes my senses like taking a drive in the country on a beautiful sunny spring day.

Many city dwellers and people from outside of Florida, rarely get a glimpse of what life is really like out in the country of North Florida.

We saw many interesting things on our drive. We saw lots of cows, and calves, some cows with long horns, some without, horses, big ones, and miniature ones, sheep, goats, tractors in the field working on their rows, new baby plants growing in the newly prepared fields.

Nothing gives me more joy than to see new life in the springtime, which promises hope for a wonderful tomorrow.

We saw people harvesting cabbages, and broccoli. We stopped by a wonderful country market called "County Line" which had the freshest produce I have ever seen, right off the fields!

As we were shopping a big green tractor pulling a flat bed trailer drove up with a freshly harvested crop of broccoli. The BIGGEST broccoli I have ever seen.

We bought some broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, turnips, mushrooms, onions, eggplant, yellow squash, radishes, and more. Two arms full of fresh off the land vegetables for only $6.00! You can find this wonderful market on the corner of 207 and 13!

Take a drive in the country in North Florida and take in all the sights, it will soothe your senses, and make your heart happy!
