Wonderful small town feel to this annual festival that comes around every October. Located at the St. John's County Fairgrounds, there is plenty of things to do and see for the whole family.

Some of the highlights of this festival, were the special considerations for kids. In the barn, they had a pretend cow with pretend milk that kids can try to milk. They had a pretend chicken coop with pretend chickens sitting on pretend eggs. They had some wooden kid sized trees with little shelves that held fresh oranges and apples. There was a sandbox.

There were chickens, goats, horses, and cracker cattle there to look at. The roosters were cock-a-doodle dooing loudly while the children giggled!

The 4H club was very active and the night we were there, they had a costume contest for the kids and their pet dogs. It was very amusing!

They also had a frisbee dog show that drew lots of people. It was fun to see these former rescue dogs do their thing, and amaze the crowds. They loved to hear the crowds cheer!

The kiddie rides were all very nice, and clean. There was a new kiddie ride that I have not ever seen before. It was like a giant boat, called the Rockin' Tug, that pretended to rock and wave in the tossing seas. Bryan loved it!

We went on dollar day, where entrance is $1 each. We then purchased a wristband for $15 and he rode: The strawberry patch ride, the 4 wheel drive ride, the giant slide ride, the carousel, the funhouse, the helicopter ride, the Rockin Tug, the train ride, and more, over and over and over again!

We shared a homemade sausage on a bun, which was very delicious!

We had a nice time and want to encourage you to check out this wonderful local Florida Fair:
